Site Considerations
Using the site design provided, implement the below best practices to
reduce potable water
use, utility bills and maintenance costs.
• Use native plants for landscaping
• Reduce the use of turf for the site
• Design the site so you don’t need an irrigation system. If one is
absolutely necessary, implement a low water use drip irrigation system
• Use harvested rainwater for watering garden plants
