Jolly Avenue Development Center Broke Ground in November 2019

Picture

Friends of Refugees was also one of the tours available during Greenbuild. Their Jolly Avenue Development Center was SDCA's 2014 project, and it broke ground in November! The ceremony had a great attendance, and we look forward to its progress in the new year!

There is still much to be done, and below are some of JADC's greatest needs:
  • Subcontractors (especially site work/grading, plumbing, concrete, parking lot, IT/Security/Access Control, windows/doors, etc.) who share the JADC vision and are willing to bid on the project at a lower than average cost. Winter Construction is the pro-bono GC, so subs need to be able to work on a commercial site like this.
  • Material gifts-in-kind commitments for specific furnishings, appliances, plants/trees, finish material, and tech hardware
  • A window and/or door sponsor

If you are interested in assisting or know of someone, please contact Brian Bollinger, Executive Director of Friends of Refugees, at [email protected].
