Thank you so much for your interest in SDCA’s 2020 collaborative project with the Barrow County School Systems, ArtsNow, and the Barrow Community Foundation. We’d love it if you can still join us for this exciting endeavor. During past charrettes, we have broken out into teams: architecture/interiors, landscape/exterior, systems. After the design charrette, the teams usually coordinate internally to finesse designs and deliverables for the book. So if you are unavailable to attend the charrette but would still like to be part of this project, there will be plenty of opportunities.
The charrette will be taking place at the Center for Innovative Teaching, 84 W Midland Ave, Winder, GA 30680, and the session will be roughly broken down like this:

- Introductions
- Overview of the project goals and programming needs
- Collaboratively decide building entrances and access control
- Break out into groups: architecture/interiors, landscape/exterior, systems
- Lunch (provided)
- Discuss each group’s design proposal
- Arrive at design consensus
- Discuss next steps
