SUSTAINABLE DESIGN COLLABORATIVE ATLANTA (SDCA)
Our Vision:
Creating enhanced communities through equal access to cross-disciplinary sustainable design solutions.
Our Mission:
To provide a means for pooling talent, sharing ideas, and developing programs to better the community through integrative solutions for the built environment.
What we Do:
Our cross-disciplinary approach focuses on providing our partners, whose missions often emphasize sustainability and community enhancement, with a completed, integrated schematic design vision.
Our Previous Clients:
Our clients have been reflective of both our teams flexible range and the non-profit organizations of the Atlanta Metropolitan Region:  Decatur Cooperative Ministry (Decatur), Our Giving Garden (Mableton), Solomons Temple (Atlanta), ArtsNow (collaboration with Barrow County School System), Hagar Civilization Training Missionary (Vine City), Friends of Refugees (Chamblee), The Lifecycle Building Center (East Point), the Lithonia Woman’s Club (Lithonia) and a design for Adams Park and Recreation Center (Atlanta). Detailed information about these projects and their final presentations can be found at our website - www.sdcatlanta.org.
The SDCA Board of Directors is soliciting qualified projects and proposals for our 2026 project. The objective of this Request for Proposal is to locate an organization that will provide the best overall value to SDCA. As a design-focused non-profit organization, we are interested in locating non-profit or community-based organizations in which SDCA will perform Design Development-specific activities, and are accepting submissions in response to this Request for Proposal. Our purpose is to obtain information that will allow SDCA to qualify organizations to:
  1. Achieve a high-performance, Sustainable Design opportunity.
  2. Assist in generating a quality deliverable through a clear Design process.
  3. Receive added value from SDCA in terms of excellence in Product and Service.
  4. Establish a partnership with SDCA for future growth.
